A collection of shortlists of good things.
When time is our greatest commodity we need helpful information without the noise. When I search for something, I don’t want to have to sift through mountains of round-ups and lists (AI generated mostly) for what I need. Eventually it all starts to look the same.
This is my attempt at something simpler and more authentic: a running collection of the things that legitimately help me in my life. Not because they're trending or because everyone else says so — because I tried them, used them, came back to them, and found they were actually worth passing along.
Some of it is practical—the tools and systems that make ordinary days a little easier. Some of it is soul level—the things that help me find my anchor when life is a storm. All of it is filtered through one simple question: is this genuinely good?
I'm a parent, and a lot of what I share comes from that season of life—but I don't think "helpful" and “good” have an age limit or an audience requirement. If something works, it works, whether you're managing a household of kids, running down a deadline at work, or just trying to get through a hard week.
This is less a list of everything, and more a shortlist of what's actually good.
These are my responses for when a friend sends a text that says "Hey do you have a recommendation for — ?"
